Who is responsible

Antoine Waes, France, is responsible for the data described here (the data controller). Contact: hello@completify.app.

What the app keeps

Your account: an e-mail address and a password (stored hashed), or, with Sign in with Apple, the identifier Apple gives us and the e-mail address you choose to share (it can be a private relay address); your display name; an avatar if you add one.

What you collect: the collections you join, the items you mark as collected, the dates and notes you attach, the collections and items you create, the cover and item photos you upload, your comments, stamps, follows, blocks and reports.

The memory photos you take of an item stay on your iPhone. They are never uploaded.

Technical logs: the server keeps connection logs (IP address, time, request) for security, for the period the law requires and no longer.

Why

To run the service you asked for: keep your collections and progress, show public collections and profiles to other people, send in-app notifications (performance of the contract).

To keep the app safe: review collections before they go public, handle reports, enforce the Terms of Use (legitimate interest).

To answer legal obligations, such as keeping connection logs.

Who sees what

Your public profile (display name, avatar, public collections, stats) and the collections you publish are visible to other people using the app. Private collections and your progress on them are only visible to you.

Nothing is sold, and there is no advertising and no analytics SDK in the app or on this website.

Where the data lives

Data is stored on a server operated for us by Hostinger International Ltd. (61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus), located in the European Union. Apple Inc. processes your sign-in when you use Sign in with Apple and distributes the app through TestFlight and the App Store, under its own privacy policy.

How long

Your account and content are kept for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, or ask us to, they are deleted within 30 days, except what the law requires us to keep. Connection logs are deleted after the legal retention period.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw a consent. Write to hello@completify.app; we answer within one month.

You may also file a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr), or with the authority of your own country.

Children

Collectable is not meant for children under 13, or under the age required in your country to use online services. If you think a child gave us data, write to hello@completify.app and we will delete it.

This website

This website sets one cookie, NEXT_LOCALE, to remember your language. It does not use analytics, advertising or any third-party tracker. Fonts and images are served from our own server.

Changes

When this policy changes in an important way, the date at the top is updated and the app tells you.
